CafePSP has undergone many
changes since it's conception in the spring of 2002.
It has received an enthusiastic
welcome and has grown beyond everyone's expectations.
Due to the interest we have
put a limit on membership in the Cafe. It was never our intention to have the biggest
PSP group, we'd like to keep it small and make it one of the
best!! Unfortunately, sometimes
this means long waiting list for potential members, but we
feel it is the best way
for us to provide the best possible group that we can for our members.
CafePSP is geared for the
experienced Paint Shop Pro users. If you'd like to see examples
of the types of tutorials
that are on our monthly menu you can follow the links below to visit
the sites of some of our
regularly featured authors, remember, this is just a small example
of the tutorials and authors
we use ......

Along with the many
tutorials we offer each month on our menu we also do month long
graphic challenges, photo
challenges, and weekly WETS.
Our graphics challenges are
written by our Moderators and are of a various nature to improve on learned skills,
new techniques, etc. No tubes or clip art are allowed with these challenges unless they are
made by members themselves.
Our photo challenges consist
of photo manipulation using the filters in PSP 7, and/or outside filters and plug-ins,
photo restoration, colorizing B&W photos, cropping, blending,
cloning, and various other
photo enhancement and manipulation skills.
Our weekly WETS are sent
in by members. Members are to make something unusual out
of the image that is presented
them but the original image must still be recognizable.
If you're looking for a group
that is not the "norm" and have at least 2 years of experience
(some exceptions will be
made for those that are "fast learners") and have the time to be an active participant (no
lurkers allowed) then CafePSP might just be the group you are
looking for. CafePSP is
by invitation only, if you'd like to join you can contact Connie at the below
address and tell her a little about yourself.
